 Rules for Juniors 2010

these are the new rules for this year!!

THIS IS A NON-CONTACT FORMULA, FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THIS  WILL RESULT IN BEING TOLD TO LEAVE THE RACEWAY

 

 No tuning or conversions to the car which you are racing whatsoever

  • 1000cc ONLY.

  • No conversion to engines, i.e. standard carbs and standard manifolds to the car to which you are racing.

  • Standard cam shaft, no lighten flywheels.

  • Drivers door net must be fitted

  • All cars must be fitted with a six point roll cage. (Plates above and below fixing points in floor)

  • 2x brake lights per car must be fitted and working.

  • All cars must be fitted with a cut off switch in the rear left window area.

  • All fuel and electric cables must run inside the car. All fuels lines must be braided with minimum joins, i.e. one at carb and one at the tank only.

  • 2 gallon fuel tank to be fitted in the boot.

  • Battery covered and securely fastened inside the car.

  • All cars will start with a white roof, with the exception of last year’s champion.

  • All cars must have finplates fitted and drivers name must be clearly written on the nearside roof.

  • Dizzy guards can be fitted BUT they should only cover the distributor. Anything else will be deemed as excessive and you will be asked to cut it out before being allowed to race.

  • Fire extinguishers must be fitted with a working gauge.

  • Full harness and type ‘A’ crash helmet minimum required.

  • Overalls and helmets must be worn at all times when on the raceway.

  • The scrutineers decision is final

  • All flags must be obeyed

 

All the above rules will be strongly enforced at every meeting.

Anyone not obeying the marshals or scrutineers will be asked to load up and leave.
